Impact of COVID-19 on the health care system

Summary. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown how vulnerabilities in health systems can have profound consequences for health, economic progress, trust in governments and social cohesion. The aim of the study – to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the health care system. Materials and Methods. The available scientific literature on the impact of COVID-19 on all areas of management was analyzed on the Internet. Result. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the transformations of the fiscal space for health care, which is being formed in stages: the collection of financial resources, their accumulation and distribution. Given such profound changes at the global level, the question arises of the need to transform existing conceptual approaches and develop a new model of economic relations in health care and change its role in budgeting and economic policy. According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused one of the worst crises in the Ukrainian economy in recent years. It should be noted that the fight against coronavirus has negatively affected the economy of Ukraine, mainly due to government decisions, rather than market imbalances, as is the case in economic and financial crises. Conclusions. The fight against the epidemic depends on concerted and rapid government action, the economic situation of the state, technological innovation, scientific development and the consciousness of every citizen. Lack of public confidence in the government leads to low levels of coronavirus vaccination
